Paris International Film Festival Picks Dakore Egbuson-Akande as Jury Member

Nigerian award winning actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande is set to resume jury duties for next year’s Paris International Film Festival.

The Film Festival scheduled to hold from February 4 to 14, 2021 has the actress on its jury team alongside other jurors to award selected filmmakers in the recommended categories.

Reacting to the news, Dakore, on her Instagram account, was ecstatic at her unveiling and posted a message with French greetings to show her appreciation. 

She says, “Bonjour Dakorians, So thrilled and honoured to be named as a juror for the 2021 edition of the Paris International Film Festival! Merci beaucoup.”

 

The actress also restated the need to be more active in using filmmaking as a medium to effect changes in appreciating cultural diversity.

She would be joined by other jurors that include Carrie Bernans, Chesley Heymsfield, Jeff Rivera, Jeff Arch and Director, Bobby Roth.
