50 Cent Blamed for Leaking Power season 5 finale Ahead of Premiere
50 Cent has been blamed by network Starz for leaking Power season five’s finale ahead of its US premiere.
A scene from the show’s fifth season finale has been doing the rounds online four days before its scheduled to air, with social media realms now becoming a walking minefield for fans attempting to avoid spoilers.
50 Cent, who both stars and produces the show, has revealed he’s been accused of leaking the episode by Starz – and he doesn’t exactly deny it.
Taking to Instagram, 50 Cent wrote: ‘Now STARZ is mad at me because they think I leaked the last episode of POWER.
‘Well it’s not like I’m acting in it, they will get over it my numbers were bigger last time. LOL get the strap #lecheminduroi
Producers of Power have recently teased how the fifth season finale will mostly revolve around Angela (Lela Loren) and Ghost (Omari Hardwick).
Speaking to TVGuide, co-showrunner Gary Lennon said: ‘If you want to know where they end up for the rest of their lives, that’s answered in the finale.’
Power airs on Sunday at 9pm ET in the US and releases on Netflix in the UK.
