Banky W, Teni, Rema to thrill fans at the first Nigerian prom concert “AfroProm”
Nigerian popular artiste and actor Banky W alongside Teni the Entertainer and Mavin New boy, Rema is set to thrill secondary school graduating students at the first ever Nigerian prom concert tagged “AfroProm” scheduled at the Eko Hotel, Convention Centre, Lagos on July 14th, 2019
The event is being organized to give Nigerian high school graduates a chance to experience prom while partying, networking, and celebrating with a host of Nigeria’s top-rated celebrities.
Speaking on the concert, the lead project manager at J. Vanni Global, Mobola Abiru said: “We designed Afroprom, Nigeria’s first-ever prom concert for secondary school graduates between the ages of 14-18 with the aim of getting these teens to celebrate a remarkable feat at a crucial stage of their lives. Prom is not new to them, they have seen it happen everywhere else but not in Nigeria. This prodded us to create a platform that will welcome them into adulthood.”
According to the hosts, renowned mediapreneur Debola Williams, and superstar musician and politician, Banky W will be in attendance to educate and inspire the students on “next steps after school” by sharing real stories of their own meteoric rise to the top.
Guests will be treated to breathtaking performances fit for the event by Rema, Teni the Entertainer, Dream Catchers, Donflex & the Extigate team; while Ikorodu Bois, Ushbebe and other comedians are expected to entertain the guest as well. Other extra activities include a rare five-course meal and a shot at the highly coveted Afroprom King & Queen crowns.
The Nigerian prom concert will be hosted by ace OAP Jimmy, and participants stand a chance to walk away with enticing gifts such as a PlayStation 4, iPhone XR, and lots more.
