Football Celebrities Glimmer at Ibiza on Cesc Fabregas Post Wedding Bash
It was a convergence of football stars, active and retired,across major leagues in Europe and beyond at the post-wedding party of Chelsea FC playmaker Cesc Fabregas on a glitzy red-carpet party at the Ibiza recently.
The Spaniard was surrounded by friendly faces as Chelsea pals and former team-mates from old clubs Barcelona and Arsenal joined the celebrations
Fabregas, 31, tied the knot with mum-of-five Daniella, 43, back in May.
They are parents to three children – daughters Lia, five, and Capri, three, plus son Leonardo, one.
Daniella is also a mum to two older kids Maria and Joseph from her marriage to property tycoon Elie Taktouk.
With many of Fab’s current and former team-mates preparing for World Cup action, Tuesday was the first time they were able to celebrate fully with a host of their close ones.
And there were plenty of familiar faces in attendance, with the numbers boosted by new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri’s decision to allow a number of his players time off to jet in for the bash.
The Italian was ready to cancel the days off upon taking over from Antonio Conte.
N’Golo Kante, Ross Barkley, Ethan Ampadu, Pedro, Marcos Alonso and Davide Zappacosta all made the trip from the capital after their exploits Down Under – and they were joined on their private plane to the shindig by Blues legend John Terry.
Ex-Stamford Bridge skipper JT, who is determined to continue playing after leaving Aston Villa, was accompanied by his wife Toni.
But it was not only Chelsea’s big names that were there to toast the happy couple.
A number of Fabregas’ old colleagues from former club Barca also hit the party isle.
Lionel Messi and wife Antonella Roccuzzo arrived at the party having taken Daniella paddle-boarding last week while she waited for her fella to finish his pre-season commitments.
Fellow Nou Camp greats Carles Puyol, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba also turned out looking resplendent.
Indeed a day when stars glimmered!
