American recording artist, French Montana is donating all the proceeds from the record ‘Famous (remix)’ which features Adam Levine to the Suubi Centre, an underfunded maternity and children’s health clinic in Uganda.
The 33-year-old Morroco native took to his Instagram page to share a video clip of him on CNN News saying he and his management have raised a total of Five Hundred Thousand dollars for the Suubi Center thus far.
“When I went to Uganda I felt obligated to help I feel like every woman and child deserves the right healthcare. It shouldn’t be a privilege it should be a right,”
The Grammy-nominated rapper was inspired to give back to the Suubi Center following his trip to Uganda last year where he shot the music video for popular record “Unforgettable”. He then
launched his #Unforgettable Healthcare Campaign, in partnership with Global Citizen’s #2BSTRONG Campaign and Mama.
