Woman of grace and elegance, Chief Mrs. Sade Okoya, wife of business mogul,Chief Rasaq Okoya, has recorded another impeccable feat being honored with the Inspiring Executive Woman of the Year award, at the University of Ibadan Alumni Global Network dinner, hosted in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the foremost institution of learning.
Apparently in recognition of her remarkable management qualities, her impact on the socio-economic front with developmental schemes and empowerment initiatives, the MD of the Eleganza Group of Companies, flanked by her lovely children, was her vintage self depicting consumate beauty as she was conferred the award recently at The Dorchester, Mayfair, London.
The UI Alumni Global Network is a forum that was conceptualised to continue ensuring the high academic standard of the university among its other objectives.
The forum provides a convenient convergernce umbrella under which the plethora of graduates of the prestigious institution can continually make positive contributions in sustaining its objectives which include encouraging research, improving technology and infrastructural development of the university.
Born 25th of April 1977, Chief (Dr) Shade Okoya (nee Adeleye) grew up in Lagos where she had her early education. She studied Banking and Finance at the Lagos State University and went on to bag a degree in sociology at the University of Lagos.
Intelligent, hardworking and humble, Shade has maintained an excellent understanding of dealing with business complexities and human resource management to achieve set goals; attributes which have been evident in the positive and high level results at the company her husband found expedient to entrust her with. She has not disappointed.

Happily married to Chief (Dr) Rasaq Akanni Okoya CON, the Chairman and Chief Executive of the Eleganza Group of Companies, who is also the Aare of Lagos, Babajiro of Oke-Ona Egba, Aare Babalaje of Ajiranland and Ogbeni Oja of Epe land, they are blessed with four children.
