After the release of the full official trailer of the film titled Muna, it’s obvious that Adesua is ready to take her acting career to the global stage after pulling off some scary martial art skills with a cold killer look.

Following the release of the full-length trailer of Kevin Nwankwo’s action-packed film, Muna on the 3rd of June by KevStel TV, the footage released depicts that Adesua best is yet to come.

Interestingly, the movie looks like it would break the internet and cause traffic at the cinema after its premiere.

When a series of pictures of Adesua’s character (Muna) was uploaded on her Instagram page dressed as CIA or rather a corporate assassin in July 2017, it sent shivers down the spines of her fans. The ‘Wedding Party’ star revealed how her physical theatre training had helped her in playing the role after eight years. Not many of her peers or senior colleagues would have pulled this off with the scenes seen in the 2:24 long official trailer.

After accessing the comments on the YouTube page down to her IG page, the accolades were authentic and some are still left in astonishment, no one ever believed Nollywood could produce someone who could pull that stunt.

Howbeit, Adesua’s professional training from City College Coventry, the United Kingdom where she obtained a diploma in “physical theatre, musical theatre and performing arts” is an added advantage that might have set her for global recognition with her performance in the film, ‘Muna’. She had the criteria in her following her graduation, all she needs is a movie to spill the beans.

The official trailer further became an advocate on the issue of human trafficking – which has been the theme of a number of Nollywood movies. Muna, who fell in love after being trafficked to Europe is of age and have acquired new skills to help confront the human trafficking ring that has various individuals from different races across the world.

‘Muna’ also features a combination of brilliant movie practitioners that such as Ebele Okaro, Adam Huss, Falz, Steve Wilder, Kor Boakye, Onyeka Onwenu, Andrew Onochie, Ikpomwosa Gold, Charles Osiegbu, Robert Miano, and Camille Winbush amongst others.

Early this year, Adesua Etomi-Wellington was ranked alongside Hollywood’s superstar, Scarlett Johansson as the world’s most famous actresses.

In a special interview and article by Vogue magazine title, ’14 Countries, 14 Superstars: The Global Actors Who Know No Limits,’ Etomi was ranked alongside Elizabeth Debicki, Eiza González, Bruna Marquezine, Angelababy, Léa Seydoux, Deepika Padukone, and Doona Bae as nine of world’s most famous actresses. Adesua told the world about Nollywood and she is looking forward as the famous actress from Nollywood.

Nollywood might not have a Halle Berry or Angelina Jolie to pull off some of the needed martial art display, ‘Muna’s trailer offers a guarantee that Adesua is going to give a clench-fisting performance that both harkens back to her readiness to take on a fresh challenge in the uncharted territory of the global stage.
