‘Black Panther’,came out with a bang. The movie, featuring a predominantly black cast film, shattered many box office records, and set new ones across the globe.
Ryan Coogler according to report, has sealed a deal to work on the sequel. The first instalment grossed over $1.3 billion in the US alone.
Black Panther, built around a fictional African country, featured Chadwick Boseman, Micheal B Jordan, and Lupita Nyong’o.
Coogler who helmed the first release, is said to have been presented the opportunity to sign the sequel deal shortly after the release of the movie in February but he chose to take his time before committing.
According to the report, production of the movie will begin either in late 2019 or early 2020.
