Singer Jovial releases first project as a solo artiste

Kenyan female singer with beautiful vocals, Juliet Ayub Miriam a.k.a Jovial has released the much-anticipated music video of “DEEJAY”.

Jovial, who hails from Mombasa, is a talented songstress and Afro-fusion singer whose songs have a twist of zouk. She has several songs under her name and has collaborated with leading artists including  Ben Pol, Jua Cali. Some of her hits include Kila La Heri, Unakosa Raha, Mimi Ni Wako, among few. 

The song titled “DEEJAY” premiered formally on YouTube, yesterday. The release of Deejay comes barely a few weeks after she dropped Amor, a song she featured with her ex-boss Otile Brown under Just in Love Music.

The act collaborated with talented urban video director Johnson Kyalo to unleash her new single “DEEJAY” while the song was produced by popular Kenya music producer Vicky Pon Dis (audio), who she is currently working with as a solo artiste.

Earlier this week, Jovial’s Manager David Guoro confirmed that Jovial is no longer under contract with “Just in Love Music” following a misunderstanding with her then management headed by Otile.

“It’s true she is not under contract with Just In Love Music, there was a misunderstanding that resulted in her termination. Currently, she is under a new record label and next week she will be releasing a new project. We are branding her to be the next big thing. She has a number of projects on her name that will be releasing soon,” said Jovial’s Manager.

Jovial began her Odyssey to stardom after her collabo with Juacali 5 years ago in a song titled.‘Jiachilie’

According to Jovial, Otile Brown terminated her contract with the label after releasing two songs “Zichune and Amor” with Otile Brown. Both songs have over 800k views on YouTube.
