StarTimes and Bundesliga announce Bundesliga Experience with Jay-Jay Okocha in Nigeria
The management of StarTimes and Bundesliga has announced that the Nigerian legendary footballer Jay-Jay Okocha will headline the next Bundesliga Experience in Nigeria. The event will begin from 25th of April, 2019 in Lagos, Nigeria.
The event is set to host the Bundesliga star on a three-day visit, with the aim of bringing the Bundesliga and its famous ‘Football as its Meant to be’ mantra closer to fans and StarTimes subscribers.
While in Nigeria, Okocha will visit the Little Tigers Academy in Lagos. There, he aims to motivate and inspire the youngsters who want to be like him.

During the Bundesliga Experience, Okocha will be hosted by award-winning TV and radio sports pundits in Lagos. He will also have a live-chat on Facebook with football fans. Furthermore, the football sensation will have a training session with Nigeria Premier League’s MFM Boys. Finally, Mr. Jay Jay will go on a visit to the SOS Children’s Village Nigeria.
Also, the Legend will engage in interpersonal communication with fans on Saturday, 27th of April. A Fan Fest is scheduled to take place at the Fun Factory Lekki phase 1, Lagos.
During the activities, fans will be able to watch the derby match between Borussia Dortmund and FC Schalke 04, among other live Bundesliga games. Live entertainment, give-away, youth soccer tournaments, food, drinks and much more will also give fans a true taste of Germany’s famous football league.
