The Music World Mourns At the Murder of Eritrean-American Rapper Nipsey Hussle in Los Angeles
An Eritrean-American rapper Nipsey Hussle, has been reportedly shot and killed in the city of Los Angeles.
The rapper who earned a Grammy nomination this year for album Victory Lap, was born on August 15, 1985, in the Crenshaw neighbourhood of south Los Angeles as Ermias Asghedom. He was 33.
According to reports, the musician and two other men were shot on Sunday outside Marathon Clothing, the store Hussle owns. Police said the other two men were in stable condition.
Last year the rapper with an Eritrean immigrant father and an African-American mother visited Eritrea with his brother and father.
