Tiwa Savage Blazes London 02 Arena with Electrifying Concert

Nigerian pop queen Tiwa Savage put up a dazzling performance at the O2 Arena, in London, United Kingdom last night where she thrilled fans to a rocking frenzy. According to sources, Tiwa is the first female artiste to sell out the prestigious venue.
The Savage Tour’, on Friday, August 24 will go down in the history books for Tiwa Savage, as she headlined her first concert in the UK at the iconic Indigo at the O2 Arena with the tickets sold out hours before the event.
The concert which witnessed a sold out attendance of almost 3,000 capacity, featured a number of top acts taking to the stage in support of the Mavins diva.
The night witnessed performances from opening acts like members of her Mavin family, from the label head Don Jazzy to Reekado Banks, D’ija and Dr Sid.
Others who took to the stage to thrill the audience include the likes of Wstrn, Congolese superstar, Awilo Longomba, Mystro, and the Alternate Sound Band.
Tiwa Savage who was looking all royal in her yellow outift performed both old and new songs from her hits filled catalog, including her break out single ‘Kele Kele Love’, Dorobucci, Romantic, Eminado and more.
She was also joined on stage by Dr Sid as the duo performed the hit song, ‘If I Start To Talk’, with her set also featuring songs like ‘All Over’, ‘Lova Lova’ and ‘Tiwa’s Vibe’ as she paced the stage bare footed to the admiration of her fans who sang along to every song.
This is Tiwa Savage’s first headline event and biggest concert yet outside of Nigeria, as the singer who also opened her pop-up store the day before the event, continues to push the message of Afrobeats beyond the African continent.
The singer who has enjoyed a fairly eventful 2018, and is set to release her third studio album later in the year says she wants to give her UK fans much more than a show and this she fulfilled on the night.
This is coming after Tiwa and her husband Teebillz sent messages of support to each other just before the concert.
Teebillz wrote on how he promised to make her the top artiste in Africa and Tiwa responded by saying her story cannot be complete without him in it.
Nigerian musician Davido also took to his Instagram page to celebrate Tiwa Savage on her sold out show.
Tiwa who is currently in London sold out her concert at the 02 Indigo. Elated by her achievement, Davido wrote “Congrats @tiwasavage boutta shut down london ! !! @missamadi @efe_one one family ! ❤️ #stealth”
Tiwa replied his post by saying, “Awwww thanks OBO, you have the MOST beautiful heart” with two love emojis.
The Nigerian songtress’ ex-husband took to social media to appreciate Tiwa Savage after it was announced that she sold out the Indigo O2 arena ahead of her concert in London.
On his Instagram post, TeeBillz had gushed about how he had told the singer that she would become one of Africa’s biggest female artistes when they first started out.
