Botswana singer, Mpho Sebina, to perform at inaugural Casa Corona festival
South Africa-based Botswana singer, Mpho Sebina, will perform at the debut Casa Corona Festival at Nirox Foundation Sculpture Park in Krugersdorp, South Africa. The festival will be holding from 21st to 23rd of June.
Casa Corona festival is a weekend-long lifestyle experience that features various forms of art such as photography, mixology, music, and food.
Mpho Sebina will be supported by Soweto-based collaborative photography company ISeeADifferentYou; award-winning South African cinematographer, Ofentse Mwase; and Ghanaian visual artist Prince Gyasi.
The host said the festival is “influenced by themes from France, Spain, and Mexico. Casa Corona emulates a ‘Paradise in the City.’ It is a paradise to escape to and live unforgettable moments at sunset. Casa Corona is full of immersive experiences where you can enjoy an awesome winter sunset with a Corona and lime.
“Catch iPhonography workshops, outdoor cinema, Latin-American cuisine, outdoor silent concerts, mixology sessions, live music coupled with Nature’s winter show off. Guests at this intimate event will enjoy an exclusive lifestyle experience through some of South Africa’s best young creatives. The effervescent celebrity, chef Nti, will serve dishes with a Mexican flair. However, mixologists will perform their magic in a glass to make you forget the bland teas and sweet cocoa.”
Corona marketing manager, Sifiso Pule, described the festival as a global lifestyle experience not to be left out. “Casa Corona is a drink for all seasons, and this winter sunset experience embodies that spirit.”
