Kugali, arguably the largest African comic book is an African entertainment company that tells the African story using arts and comic books.

The animated series, Iwaju – meaning Forward, according to Disney would be a science fiction genre set in a futuristic Lagos and would “explore themes of class innocence and challenging the status quo”.

The collaboration would be a mutually benefiting relationship as Disney looks to bring in its expertise in animation creation to complement Kugali’s impressive storytelling.

Kugali is founded by Fikayo Adeola as Chief Executive Officer and Writer, Hamid Ibrahim as Creative Director and Tolu Olowofoyeku as CTO.
