Ethiopia’s Sintayehu Legese Carts Home Grand Prize of $50,000 at the Lagos City Marathon

The Lagos city marathon is always heralded with fun and fanfare. Usually dominated by the east African nations, winners of the competition are always rewarded handsomely.
This 2019 edition of the competition was no different as Ethiopian Athlete, Sintayehu Legese carted home the ultimate prize.
Legese who finished the race with a time of 2:17:26 will be going home with the grand prize of $50,000.
Joshua Kipkorir came second and would go home with $40, 000 while the third place in the competition wins $30, 000.
