France Becomes the World Cup Champion with a 4-2 Win over Croatia

The French team defeated the Croatians in the final of the World Cup in 2018 and became the winner of the tournament.

The match took place at the stadium “Luzhniki” and ended in a 4: 2 win in favour of France.

The French took the lead 18 minutes into the match due to Mario Mandzhukich own goal.

In the 28th minute, the Croatian midfielder Ivan Perisic equalized.

38th minutes later, a penalty was awarded to France, which was well executed by French forward Antoine Grizmann.

In the second half, the advantage of the French national team was increased by midfielder Paul Pogba (59th minute) and forward Kilian Mbappa (65th minute). At the 69th minute, Manjukić reduced the backlog of the Croatian national team.
