German Ambassador Says Nigeria Is Future of The World
The German Ambassador to Nigeria has said that Nigeria is the future of not just Africa, but of the whole world and mankind.
Dr. Bernhard Schlagheck stated this when he received the delegation of “Follow the Money and Connected Development (CODE)” in his office in Abuja on Friday. The Ambassador added that Germany and Nigeria shared similarities in diverse areas.
Schlagheck added that Nigerians could contribute towards the growth of their country through tracking governance processes to ensure accountability.
Quoting him:
“There are developments in every society that must be tracked. To achieve that, there is a need for the distinction of people to do such.
“Nigeria is the future of Africa and the future of the world, of mankind. We can ask many important questions and of course, this is also applicable in places like Germany, in Europe”.
Speaking further, he advised Nigerians to strive and focus on the cross-fertilization of good ideas to bring about meaningful growth in the future. Consequently, he commended the delegation for their effort in tracking expenditure of public funds to promote accountability and transparency in the governance process in the country.

According to him, this could change things positively. The German Ambassador expressed gladness as many young activists were willing to do so.
