Huobi, Cashu partner to expand cryptocurrency reach across North Africa
An online payment company, CASHU, and Huobi have announced a collaboration that aims at giving easy access to cryptocurrency for millions of people across North Africa.
According to the company, users can make crypto transactions as easily and effortlessly as they would paying a bill or signing up for online services.
However, this new partnership will grant over 2.2 million CASHU users easy access to buy and sell Bitcoin, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and EOS directly from the company’s mobile app.
Also, Users do not need access to a bank account and can even pay in local currencies.
The co-founder of Huobi MENA, Mohit Davar noted that:
The partnership with CASHU was led and managed by Huobi MENA, Huobi’s Dubai-based Middle Eastern, African, and Turkish branch.
“We are very excited about this partnership and business model. We will be looking to replicate this with other partners in other countries also.”
While stressing that the partnership between both companies is a unique business model that enables virtual digital assets trading to CASHU’s millions of users. Davar pointed out that the business model which is a unique one would empower the unbanked population to trade in cryptos
Also speaking on the recent collaboration, the CEO of CASHU, Thaer M. Suleiman, added that
“We are excited about this partnership with Huobi to provide millions of users in the MENA region with the ability to trade cryptocurrencies the easiest way.
Suleiman expressed satisfaction and hoped this development would be the beginning of a very fruitful opportunity to bring the experience of Cryptocurrency trading to a young, dynamic, and exponentially growing region.
