Lovers of Disney movies and TV series can now dive into an addictive music hub on Spotify, including seven playlist sections with top hits from Disney animated favorites and music from Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars films.

Spotify users in South Africa, as well as United States, Canada, The United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, can now enjoy listening to the new Disney Music Hub with all the music behind Disney movies, television shows and lots more

Terms of the deal between Spotify and Disney weren’t disclosed. According to Spotify, its users have streamed almost 2.5 billion minutes of Disney music on the service in 2019 alone.

Disney’s Top most-streamed song on Spotify is “Let It Go” from the “Frozen” soundtrack, next is “Moana”’s “How Far I’ll Go” and “You’re Welcome”; “Life Is a Highway” from “Cars”; also “You’ll Be in My Heart” from Tarzan.

Streaming playlists will also feature all from classics such as The Lion King to newer favorites like Frozen to Marvel and Star Wars Movie soundtracks. Furthermore, the hub will be a place for music that suits every mood or moment of the day.

The sections in the Disney hub on Spotify are Disney Favorites; Disney Sing-alongs; Disney Princess; Disney Hits; Disney Classics; Marvel Music; and Best of Star Wars.

“The Disney Music Group has found a loyal partnership in Spotify, and we are excited to take it to the next level with the launch of the Disney Hub,” said Karen Lieberman, Vice President Sales & Digital of DMG. “The capacity to shine a brighter light on the magic of our music with Spotify listeners is a tremendous opportunity, providing for easy access to our best new music and timeless catalog of classics.”

June Sauvaget, Global Head of Consumer & Product Marketing at Spotify said, “Alongside Disney, we’ve curated a magical hub of songs, soundtracks, and playlists that’s easily accessible for Disney lovers of all ages. With an easy search, Spotify users can listen to all of their Disney favorites – from the vast world of The Lion King to Marvel.”

“We’re thrilled to kick off this collaboration and bring this experience to our listeners as we continue to concentrate on discovering as seamless as possible, June concluded.

Spotify users and parents should brace themselves for repeated demands from their kids for long streaming sessions of Disney Sing-Alongs.
