President Muhammadu buhari had called on Nigerians to go out and vote for any candidate of their choice.

Buhari stated this in a National broadcast this morning also challenged Nigerians to come out and perform their civic rights stating that eligible voters are bound to participate in electing a government that would lead the country to its finest destiny.

The President, who gave this Ahead of tomorrow’s presidential election, encouraged the citizens and urged them not to be discouraged from exercising their rights as voters on Saturday.

He commended citizens for their patience and so far during the electoral season and most especially during this week following the postponement of the February 16 elections and urged Nigerians not to be afraid of rumors of violence and unrest, affirming that the nation’s security agencies would ensure that adequate security measures were in place.

Buhari further stated that the Independent national Electoral Commission, INEC, is ready and fully prepared to conduct the election in a free, fair and transparent manner and the commission realizes their duty.

The President assured all to cast aside doubt and have faith that INEC will rise to the occasion believing it to fulfill and honor the responsibility it owes to our country.
