Serena Williams, Lady Gaga to Co- chair 2019 Met Gala Event

All is being put in place to have a memorable 2019 Met Gala, with the announcement of the event by the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, to the delight of fans.
This year’s edition of the event titled “Camp Notes On Fashion’,will be held a night before exhibitions open on the first Monday in May at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Costume Institute’s curator Andrew Bolton said, “We are going through an extreme camp moment, and it felt very relevant to the cultural conversation to look at what is often dismissed as empty frivolity but can be actually a very sophisticated and powerful political tool, especially for marginalized cultures.”
Tennis star Serena Williams, Lady Gaga and Harry Styles will co- chair the event.
