Super Eagles defender, Collins set to return from injury-induced layoff against Cameroon

Super Eagles defender Jamilu Collins is in line to make his first appearance for Nigeria at the ongoing 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in the country’s encounter against defending champions Cameroon.
Collins picked up an injury in training on the eve of Nigeria’s first Group B game against Burundi and did not feature in the Gernot Rohr’s team’s three group games.
The defender which plays for SC Paderborn of Germany has since returned to full training with the rest of the squad and is expected to make the starting line-up against the Indomitable Lions.
Collins’ return may force head coach Gernot Rohr to tweak his line-up in the defense for the game.
The Super Eagles finished in the second position in Group B following their shocking 2-0 loss to Madagascar last Sunday.
The Nigeria, Cameroon clash on Saturday will start by 5 pm.
