“There is Nothing a Woman Should Be Because She is a Woman” – Chimamanda Adichie

Nigerian writer, author, activist and renown feminist, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has said that men not only enjoy “patriarchy” but also suffer from it.
The award-winning author said this during a speech at Hubspot’s annual Inbound Conference where she was one of the keynote speakers for 2018.
Chiamanda explained that both men and women suffer from suicide but men have a much higher rate of dying by suicide she explained the reason why which is because men have been socialized in lots of ways like “not to ask for help”
She also spoke on Gender roles “There is nothing a woman should be because she is a woman and there is nothing a man should be because he is a man“
