Some days after Azuri Technologies announced its $26 million equity investment to accelerate its expansion plans across sub-Saharan Africa, The pay-as-you-go solar home solutions has launched its 24-inch solar satellite television and home lighting system in Zambia.
The investment will help more off-grid customers across the country to benefit from affordable, clean and reliable energy, as well as have access to modern energy-efficient appliances.
The CEO of Azuri, Simon Bransfield-Garth said:

Also speaking, the Minister for Energy, Hon. Matthew Nkhuwa added that renewable energy that is offered by Azuri is a catalyst for rural development through improved access to information. It improved productivity, add new employment opportunities, and also support Zambia’s commitment to mitigating climate change.
