French Star Kim Domingo Recounts Days She Slept on the Streets Eating Scrappy Meals

The road to stardom is certainly not for the chicken hearted and there always has to be a starting point and a clear focus and direction of where one wants to be.

Actress Kim Domingo is a beautiful of example of someone who has very clear premises, despite the rough humble beginnings of her inspiring road to stardom.

Domingo knew what she wanted to be right from childhood and never gave up on her dream.

“There are many reasons for why a person becomes a talent. I wanted to get discovered because it was my dream to be an actress ever since I was a child, and of course to earn money to help my parents and myself”.

Now an actress, model and endorser, the 23-year-old actress agreed on the truth behind the scenes and shared anecdotes on her humble beginnings.

“The life of a talent is so difficult. I won’t forget the times when I was a talent during my high school days. You feel a combination of heat, exhaustion, lack of sleep, hunger.”

She ate on the streets and waited for hours just to be on the screen for a few seconds, earning 500 pesos from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., money she used to help support her family and sometimes to get new clothes for the next day’s taping.

“I was happy with the P500 I brought home after 24 hours of taping where I was only a passerby for a scene.”|

“Now I’m happy because I’ve been able to attain my two dreams and so much more. That’s why every time I see a talent, I always remember that I was once like them.”

Beautiful Domingo embraced her sex appeal and garnered an online following when she began making Dubsmash videos lip syncing to songs and eventually in 2015 became the cover of a men’s magazine. The experience would open more doors for her.

Now a role model for aspiring actors, Domingo has a word of advice for talents who are roughing it and waiting for their own big break:.

“Have patience and perseverance and prosperity will come. Don’t lose hope, fight for your dreams. If you’re doing it to earn money, keep fighting. Don’t forget who is above and where you came from.”

“What you’re doing is no joke and is nothing to be ashamed of,” she added.

Kim is well known for playing the leading antagonist in Juan Happy Love Story, Tsuperhero, and Super Ma’am.

In 2014, Kim Domingo became famous with her dubsmash “Twerk It Like Miley”. In 2015, Domingo signed a contract with GMA Artist Center. She is best known for her roles in Juan Happy Love Story as Agatha Samaniego and on the television show Bubble Gang. Domingo appeared on the cover of FHM Philippines in December 2015 and January 2017 issues.

On August 11, 2016, Domingo signed a recording contract with GMA Records. On August 15, she released her debut song and music video titled “Know Me” featuring international rapper C-Tru, released under GMA Records.

On October 19, 2016, Domingo was introduced by Ginebra San Miguel as their calendar girl for 2017. On the same date, the liquor company unveiled its five “cheeky and geeky” themed layouts.

In 2016, she portrayed Agatha Samaniego, who will be Juan Delarosa’s mistress, and the main antagonist of the series.

She portrayed a guest villain role in Tsuperhero. And her character name is Ice Queen and in 2017, she portrayed another main antagonist role, a supernatural being Tamawo in Super Ma’am which she is the sister of Minerva who was raised and influenced by a Tamawo.
