Innovation centre unveils technology startups

A new technology-driven platform, also known as the new Eko Innovation Centre has been launched in Lagos.
The organizers described the platform as a strategic move to use technology as the key driver to fast-growing and smart economies for the country.
The Founder, Victor Afolabi, added that the tech-innovation center also aims at revolutionizing the creation of new jobs that previously never existed.
Afolabi said the idea of a technology-driven growth is the key motivation for the development of Eko Innovation Centre. The centre will serve as the incubation for startups in Lagos which is the heart of the country’s economy.
Quoting the founder:
“Tech hubs are a vital part of the entire start-ups’ ecosystems. They provide platforms and opportunities for collaborations. Even more, they build support structures that are important to the growth of new startups”.
The Chief Executive Officer added that he, alongside his team saw the Lagos manifesto as an agenda to make the State the 21st-century economy. He stressed that the only way to create a 21st-century economy is to make sure that businesses that are driven by innovation and technology are being created.
In addition, the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu noted that he endorsed the initiative. Even more, he reiterated his administration’s commitment to leveraging on technology in delivering the megacity dream.
