Mzansi actress Enhle Mbali set to host Miss SA beauty pageant red carpet

South Africa actress and producer Enhle Mbali Maphumulo has been announced as the host of the next edition of Miss South Africa Beauty Pageant red carpet.
She will be tracking the celebrities as they arrive at the Sun Arena in Time Square from 2 pm until 4:30 pm, ahead of the main event.
“I can’t wait to chat with the who-is-who and stars gracing this amazing event. Expect a day of fashion and fabulosity filled with excitement,” said “The Herd” star.
“It’s an awesome thing to watch acceptance from every nook and cranny. Not one group should dominate the social standard or opinions of anything. I’m proud that the pageant has opened itself up to what the world currently should be.”
“Kudos for being pioneers. I feel South African women are agile. Look at how far we have come. We have made strides but we still have a long way to go. The saying never changes Wathint’ abafazi, wathint’ imbokodo (you strike the women, you strike the rock). We should put our efforts together and keep fighting for the women’s rights,” Mbali who is also a director said.
The Miss South Africa pageant slated on Friday, August 9 will be held at Time Square in Pretoria and will be broadcast live on M-Net (DStv channel 101) and Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) from 5 pm.
The organizers have also announced the opening performance for the event which includes Nasty C, Rowlene, Amanda Black, Jesse Clegg, and Sho Madjozi.
The entertainers will be joined by host Bonang Matheba and supporting presenters Zavion Kotze, the wedding planner best known for his appearances on M-Net’s “The Wedding Bashers” and “Survivor South Africa 2014” and Liesl Laurie (Miss South Africa 2015 and now a popular radio broadcaster).
Furthermore, the organizers said that members of the public can now vote for their favorite contestant on the Miss South Africa website at www.misssa.co.za. While the winner of the People’s Choice will automatically make it to the Top 10 on pageant night.
