Tanasha Excited After Receiving an Award Nomination

Kenyan Singer and Radio Personality, Tanasha Donna, has received her first nomination ever. The Kenyan artist was nominated for the ‘best new act Star’ in the prestigious Q Awards.
The radio queen shared her excitement on her Insta story, stating that this is her first nomination ever.
The nomination was as a result of the release of her debut music video, which has generated interests both locally and internationally.

Tanasha said, “I first hit the countdown charts number one in Rwanda and Uganda. Also, the second most downloaded song on ‘Notjustok’ website. Then, MTV plays my song, now been nominated on Q awards”.
She further said that this nomination is proof that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. Likewise, her haters are wrong about her. And clearly, she is doing great in the music industry.
The singer admitted that she burst into tears after she woke up to this news and attributes it to God’s blessing.
The singer added that she indeed appreciates her fans. Also, she appreciates the fact that she has a supportive lover who is hard working and treats her like a queen.
Tanasha wrote, “…Bae told me, don’t you see that the hate they are showing you is a blessing? Then he adds… You will learn, though I will show you how it’s done…”
Tanasha got engaged to Diamond Platinumz and were to Wed in February. The event didn’t hold for reasons known to them alone. However, she has cleared the air, stating that the wedding has been rescheduled to hold in October.
However, Tanasha seems to be serious about her music career. She has shown indications of releasing another song barely after releasing her debut song ‘Radio’.
The 23-year-old has teased her fans with a few seconds of the yet-to-be-released track on her Instagram account.
