The Awards ceremony was preceded by an 8-hour training for distributors of the company the previous day at Virgin Rose Resort on Victoria island Lagos. The training which was segmented into different classes is the company’s way of ensuring the distributors of Avila products are well informed about the products they market and also what products are suitable for different classes of skin and hair types.
Consequently, distributors do not just sell products for the purposes of making money but are well equipped to inform clients on suitable product choices for their skin and hair types.
Different topics were treated in the training from ‘Skin Anatomy’, Increasing product sales within your territory’, ‘Hair care and Alopecia’, to ‘Anti-Aging’, ‘Dark Knuckles and Dark Under-eyes’ and ‘The Effects of Common Ingredients in Cosmetics’,
Some of the distributors who found the training to be quite beneficial spoke to AfrichRoyale.
Ajayi Adekemi, an Ikorodu distributor was enlightened on Castor oil which according to her, was ministered to a young child of one of her clients which had negative effects on the child. According to her, “It was an awesome experience for me as i got to learning quite a lot. I expect the training to continue as this would eliminate whatever disadvantages there could be being bereft of the product knowledge”
Another Lagos distributor, Grace Lawal said from the lectures, many of the questions she had in mind were answered.
Her words, ” The training broadened my spectrum on how to sell. Also, my mother has dark under-eyes and I learnt that medications could cause that. It was very interesting for me.”
Avila Naturalle has plans in the offing to diversify into food supplements by next year, thus positioning the company as a holistic natural body care provider.
